North checkpoint. Before dark.
You lost your freight business, and now you run cash for the man you owe.
In the near future, the highways between mountain villages have been sold to private Authorities. Start with one borrowed car, build it into an empire, and fight your way up through crooked police to a very powerful and mysterious entity.
Nobody tells you the whole story, so you put it together from what people say.

Your crew rides in the car's four corners. A shot through a window can knock out that corner's gun for a few seconds.

What you pick up goes in a bag, and it isn't safe until you bank it. Enemy fire skims it, and a wreck loses whatever you haven't banked. Pickups are worth the most just before a checkpoint.

There's no voice acting. Between the in-engine scenes, the story plays out in captions and black-and-white ink stills drawn from the game's 3D, so the character you picked is in every one.
